Hey You!

Well, THANK YOU so much for getting this far and wanting to know a little about the lady behind the photos...

With over 14 years of experience in photography, I'm Jodie, AKA Blonde Shot. The name came years ago when I always had blonde hair, but these days I'll admit it's a little more chemically enhanced as the years roll by, haha!

I'm a Warwickshire Wedding photographer based in Rugby who believes the best photos happen when you're busy enjoying your wedding rather than posing for it. Of course, I'll give you a little direction when needed, but my favourite moments are the real, in-between ones — the belly laughs, happy tears and fleeting glances that make your day uniquely yours.

I’ve developed a style that blends natural, authentic moments with a cinematic feel. I love to play with natural light, using the contrast between light and dark to create striking, emotional images. Whether it's a wedding, family portrait, or personal session, I aim to capture your story in a way that feels timeless, intimate, with a dash of cinematic.

I’m committed to diversity and equality, ensuring that every client feels seen, respected, and valued. I focus on creating a relaxed atmosphere during shoots, allowing your true emotions to shine through. I'm also a big kid at heart, so expect plenty of fun, laughter, and a little playfulness during our sessions.

When i’m not behind the camera

You’ll find me at home with my two cheeky sausage dogs, Alfie & Poppy, and my gorgeous partner Gabby, who I’ve been with for over 21 years!

I love LOVE! Be warned, I may cry with you a little, as I’m a big empath. I love a good dance and will definitely be your biggest hype girl. Most of the people I speak to admit they typically don’t like having their photo taken, but they’re always surprised by how relaxed and enjoyable the experience is afterwards.

My ultimate goal is to deliver high-quality, beautifully crafted images that you’ll love and keep going back to for years to come.
